Ventilated concrete facade with expressive relief
For the Lorelli Logistics Center in Shumen, we delivered a ventilated concrete façade for the administrative building. The façade design features panels with a horizontal ribbed pattern, adding depth and rhythm to the volume. The joints between the panels are integrated within the negative of the relief, making them nearly imperceptible when viewed at an angle and allowing the surface to be perceived as clean and continuous.
Contrast between relief and smooth surfaces
The textured façade is complemented by smooth concrete panels that frame it and provide a logical завершеност to the composition. These panels extend beneath the canopy, emphasizing the building’s entrance and creating a clear distinction between the different façade planes. The contrast between texture and smooth surfaces enhances the expressiveness and balance of the administrative volume.
Continuation of the facade language in the new hall
The same framing approach was applied to the newly constructed hall in 2023. L-shaped and U-shaped concrete panels are installed above the loading entrances, forming distinct frames around the openings. The light grey concrete elements contrast with the dark grey sandwich panels of the hall, creating visual hierarchy and consistency in the architectural language across the entire complex.
